Our learning is ramping up now as we master our routines. The Preps had their first log in on to the computers today and the year 1/2's have been exploring Power point and Word with Mr Dave. In Maths, Preps are working on writing and counting to 10. Year 1's are learning how to represent and partition numbers up to 120 and Year 2's are representing and partitioning numbers to 1000. In English we are learning the structure of stories and who characters are. We've also reviewed nouns, verbs and adjectives and simple sentences. We are getting more mindful about writing in our Gratitude journals and have done some outdoor learning. Please make sure you are reading for 10 minutes every day and don't forget to sign off the RAH sheet in the homework book. Last week a booklet came home to practise sounds. If this is done for 10 mins, it can be a RAH sign off. There is also new Mathletics log ins for Year 1 and 2. I set work every week on the topic we are learning about.
