P/1/2 are back in the garden this term and we have been very busy planting seedlings and learning about how we grow food. We have also been looking at different types of soil and which would be best to grow plants in. The class has planted seeds in 3 different types of soil and we are watching to see which grows best.

A very big thank you to Mr. Willis who has made our school an honesty box for the garden which is situated out the front of the car park. Keep an eye out in the future for any excess produce and seedlings which will be put out for purchase for a small donation.

Lastly a big thank you to the volunteers who have come to help out in the garden so far. It is wonderful to have the extra hands and is very much appreciated.
