Welcome back to Term 3! It’s hard to believe how quickly the year is flying by. We hope everyone enjoyed a well-deserved break and made the most of the time to rest and recharge. It’s been wonderful to see the students return with smiles on their faces and ready to learn, showing us that every day at school really does count and pays off in their learning.

In the classroom this fortnight, Maths is all about fractions, decimals and percentages. In English, we’re learning how to write a persuasive text on the theme of friendship.

We have some changes to the weekly timetable, which include Science will now be taught on Mondays and HASS will take place on Wednesdays.

We’re thrilled that cooking in the kitchen starts this week! We'll be using fresh produce from our community garden, and we’re always grateful for volunteers—whether it’s helping prep, wash up or support students with recipes. We can’t wait to see what delicious meals are on the menu!

We're excited to announce that our raffle ticket rewards begin today! Students will earn tickets for their attendance. Each week, names will go into the draw, and winners will be announced at parade.

Finally, a reminder that the Year 6 Altitude Immersion Day is happening this Friday at Maleny High School.
