It was so great to see the enthusiasm and bowling styles last Friday at bowling. There were quite a few ker-thunks but the bumpers in the gutters saved us.  All year levels have started practicing for their English assessment. This is where they will write a text sharing thought, feeling and opinions on a topic. In Maths we are consolidating our addition and subtraction, number facts and year 2 are exploring repeated addition. 

Mrs Summers has been enjoying exploring forces and what makes toys go on Thursdays and Fridays as well as delving into design features.

Our excursion note went home last week. Please return with payment to the school office. NB: Departure and return are outside school hours so please take note and let me know if you need help for that day.

Under 8's Day will be held on 27th August, 9-11am. If you know of anyone with young children please spread the word. Also our first Prep transition is on 12th September.
