Wishing You a Safe and Relaxing Break
As we wrap up another busy term, I want to thank our wonderful school community for your ongoing support and involvement. It's been a term full of learning, laughter, and growth — and now it’s time for a well-deserved break.
I hope the holidays bring you moments of rest, fun, and plenty of quality time with family and friends. Whether you're travelling or enjoying a quiet stay at home, stay safe and take the time to recharge.
This term, we also say a heartfelt farewell to our incredible Business Manager, Lisa, who is retiring after 11 years of dedicated service to our school. She has been the steady hand behind the scenes, keeping everything running smoothly and always putting the needs of our students and staff first. We thank Lisa for the care, commitment and wisdom shared with us over the years. You will be greatly missed, and we wish you all the very best in your next chapter. There is a community farewell morning tea Thursday from 11-12pm. Please come along and say good bye!
School reports will be sent home this Friday. Please take the time to read through your child’s progress and celebrate the growth they’ve made this term. It has been great to catch up with so many families this term through our interviews. If you missed out please contact your class teacher.
We’re also looking forward to our PBL Reward Bowling Day, which will take place early next term — a fun way to recognise the fantastic behaviour and effort shown by our students.
Next term we welcome Sarah Summers who will be teaching P/1/2 on Thursday/Friday and Melissa Burton who will be teaching P-6 PE and 3-6 Science and HASS. I know they will be a great addition to our already incredible staff.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for another great term.
Warm wishes,
Louise Sanderson
Mrs Sarah Summers will take the class on Thursday and Friday for term 3. I will continue on Mon-Wed. Sarah comes to us with a great deal of experience and knowledge and I look forward to working with her closely.
We also swap to gardening next term on Friday afternoons at 1.40pm. If you have some time, we welcome helpers.
Welcome to Term 2, Week 10!
Hooray! We’ve reached the end of another fantastic semester! ?
What a term it’s been! As we wrap up another exciting semester, it's the perfect time to celebrate some of the amazing things we’ve achieved in the last couple weeks of the term.
Conondale Athletics Carnival was a brilliant day of running, jumping, cheering, and showing off our school spirit. Whether you smashed a personal best or just gave it your best go, we’re proud of every single student who took part.
Then came the Soccer Gala Day in Kenilworth, where we joined forces with our fellow small schools from Eudlo, Mapleton, Montville, Glenview, and Amamoor. The fields were buzzing with action and energy, but what stood out most was the good sportsmanship on display. Players shook hands, encouraged their teammates, and showed respect—on and off the pitch. That’s what real champions are made of!
And yesterday we had the Small Schools Athletics Carnival, where students from the same small school cluster gave it their all. We loved seeing the smiles, the teamwork, and the loud cheers from the sidelines. Whether you came first or simply had a go, you’ve made your school proud. A huge thank you to our amazing P&C for their support and for keeping everyone fuelled with the delicious food from the canteen.
As the holidays arrive, we want to thank all our students for their hard work, positive attitudes, and kind hearts this semester. Take time to rest, play, and recharge. You've earned it!
We can’t wait to see you next term for even more learning, laughs, and great adventures. Enjoy the break and see you soon!
